Have you heard the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result.
All my clients come to me asking for advice to cure their misery, but not all of them are willing to do a single thing to improve their lives. They claim to want happier lives, but still they insist on continuing along the same path, doing the same thing over and over ....
Why are my clients dooming themselves to repeat the actions that cause them unhappiness by refusing to consider options, they are wasting their money and their time? Why do any of us keep traveling the same road when we know it isn't going to take us where we want to go? Why do we ignore advice that requires us to make effort or sacrifice?
We keep searching for love, success, power, or simply 'something' we can't name. We take classes, visit sacred places, eat exotic food, but we don't do the one thing that is truly necessary to improve their lives; we won't veer off the worn, familiar path we've already trod.
It's just fear, folks! We're all afraid of the unknown. We're afraid of getting lost in the woods, or of falling into a ditch, and most of all, we're afraid the whole world will laugh at us for going down the wrong path.
We'd rather keep existing in our rut than blaze a new trail, simply because we are afraid of some unnamed something that might get us if we stray from the route.
But what if we don't have to travel alone? Getting lost with a friend or two by your side is an adventure, right? A fun adventure.
Well, that's what the Earthy Women are doing -- we travel together, and we'd be glad to have you join us on our journey.
The only thing you need to get started is a determination to find your own path, and a willingness to be creative in circumnavigating the obstacles.
If you're ready to travel, we're here to share our trail mix. Are you earthy? Go ahead. Join our caravan, and we'll all travel together toward our bright shining destination.
