Angela works in the bookkeeping department of a medical facility. Her dream is to have her own holistic health counseling business, but she can't afford to quit her steady job and she doesn't have the time or resources to pursue a business of her own.

She needs a new perspective! Who's got one?

Response: My name is Sandy. I just discovered Earthy Women today and the name really caught my attention. I've always been very connected to the Earth.

My dilemma is that as an Interior Designer I would like to do "green design", environmentally sustainable, health-conscious designs, but I live in a mid-west auto industry town that's definately uninterested in green. At least enough so that I couldn't make a living income. There is a great city within an hours drive that loves green and they have no green interior designers (could I be the first one?) and a couple of the local builders I've spoken with recently there say there would be enough business to keep me busy if I wanted to start up a business. I'm in financial difficulty so there's no extra money. The cost of housing up there is really high and I have a teenage son that I have only half the time that will need to stay at his current high school, so moving there isn't an option currently. I guess I'm mostly scared to take a step. I also feel that I'm being irresponsible to reach for this dream instead of focusing on finding a job where I can make additional income immediately to help my family.

Any suggestions would be appreciated and seriously considered.
